Design challenge

BETONA takes its name from beton, Polish for concrete, and belongs to Albert I’mStein’s Architecture Series. The reference was the exterior of concrete buildings and the way an architect thinks: creative, but faithful to structure and essentials.

Solution

The frame has a solid, honest character that balances raw architectural references with careful execution. A small metal detail, based on the small irregular windows of concrete façades, gives the frame its signature.
